This product does not contain all the corn fillers that most bird seeds priced normally have. It attracts a wide variety of birds to the backyard. Very pleased with the product and the competitive price. We will continue to buy it for our backyard, friends.
Does the job to and attract and feed my little feathered friends. They are so cute and funny. Blue Jays, Cardinals, Sparrows, Nuthatches, Chickadees and Juncos are just a few of my buddies that hang with me thanks to this seed. For those that say it doesn't attract anyone, there may be other factors at play. First things first...give your feeders a good cleaning. Also, try a tray feeder. It's messy, but it's turned my backyard into a Rave for animals everywhere. Hope this helps! Glad to share a review for those of us that are Birds of a Feather ;-P
But im very disappointed either o get 40 lbs or 20 lbs manufacturers is NOT filling the bags to the top. My last 40 lb bag was half full. The 2 20 lb bags also filled halfway. I am sick of payroll higher prices for less product.
Good overall. but there is a lot of things that aren't birdseed in the bag. Ie…twigs. Contacted Pennington about that they stated there is a certain amount of miscellaneous things allowed in the bag. And buying it somewhere else may make a difference.
I do find quite a bit of little wood pieces, small scraps of paper, and even once a 18 inch piece of twine. Other than that, I would say the seeds in the bag are quite perportioned to each other.
This bag was more than half empty. I called customer service, and they went above %26 beyond to fix the problem. The cost of food for us humans and the animals is super expensive, BUT to get less food and spend four times the money. THATS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE
I ordered a 40%23 bag and probably only got 20-25 pounds of seeds. There is so much straw and splinters of wood throughout the bag. The quality of this bag is very poor. Maybe it's just a bad bag, but I feel ripped off.
By my garage door and not DUMP them in my driveway WORST delivery I have ever had from Walmart Now I have to carry them around to my garage. I'm a senior citizen, and I am not very happy.
Terrible seed— 95% Milo, which isn't even listed … white millet is. The birds won't eat the round reddish Milo balls and toss them out looking for edible seed (of which there is little). Even the squirrels won't eat the Milo seed — it is just a mess on the ground. Waste of money.
I have bought this bag in the stores for years. I had Cardinals, Blue Jays, Chickadees, Sparrows, and Doves. I even set aside some sunflower seeds for the squirrels. The last bag I ordered had no Millet, but Lots of Milo. And the sunflower seeds were greatly reduced. I checked the bags in the store and they were the same. The birds leave the Milo. They don't like it, and they don't like this blend at all! I rarely have birds coming now, which is so sad. Even the young babies stopped coming, and the squirrels too. The blend shown in the round circle of the Description is what it used to be. You can clearly see through the bag that it is not the same blend. This has loads of Milo. Few Sunflower seeds, and rarely any Millet. I guess you changed manufacturers or the recipe, but the birds aren't eating it. PLEASE Go Back to the Blend in your Pictured Description!! (More Millet %26 Sunflower seeds. Little to none of the Milo.) It's not letting me upload my pictures, but this pic is in the Description. Just add Lots of brown Milo, a Lot Less Millet %26 Sunflower seeds, and that's what's in the bags now.
